🔴 Sandy Tian
Therapist, LICSW, MSW, SUDPT
She/Her
Telehealth + In-person: Lynnwood, WA
I specialize in Addiction, Trauma and PTSD and Depression
As a therapist, my practice is grounded in providing a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment to facilitate your healing and growth. I employ an integrative approach to therapy, with a primary focus on trauma processing and deep self-exploration. My work is heavily informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, which helps clients identify and heal wounded parts of themselves while fostering a stronger connection to their core self. This approach is particularly effective in addressing emotional blocks and past traumas that may be causing difficulties in your present life.

I specialize in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based and highly effective therapy for processing and resolving trauma. EMDR can help reduce the emotional intensity of past events and enable you to move forward with clarity, peace, and empowerment.

In addition to EMDR and IFS, I incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and creative approaches like art therapy. This combination allows me to tailor our sessions to your unique needs, offering practical tools for growth and healing.

My focus is primarily on working with adult individuals, and I encourage clients to commit to consistent, once-weekly or more frequent therapy sessions. I have found that regular, focused sessions foster the best outcomes, especially for individuals experiencing barriers to self-understanding, challenges with self-esteem, or the lingering effects of trauma.

Therapy is a collaborative journey, and my role is to guide and support you as you uncover your strengths, address your challenges, and create a more fulfilling and balanced life. Together, we will work toward achieving meaningful, lasting change.
