“I pretended to be somebody I wanted to be until finally I became that person. Or he became me.” -Cary Grant.

Things don’t have to feel this way forever. I work with adults who struggle with feelings of depression and anxiety, and who feel lost in life. Life is challenging, and those challenges often become part of who we are, following us and continuing to haunt us long after they have passed. These things can feel so intertwined with WHO we are that it feels impossible to see the world without them. Let’s work together to create a new world that you can imagine yourself into, and then become.

I welcome people from all backgrounds and identities, including people looking for help in discovering their identity. I believe our hobbies and interests are important parts of our mental health journey and encourage my clients to be their unreserved selves. Talking about video games, sports, music, tv and movies, or any other interest we share can only deepen the therapeutic relationship necessary for good therapy.

I practice CBT and ACT from a person-centric Adlerian perspective. This means that we will spend a lot of time working to understand your habits and how the people and places around you have impacted them. Then we will work to restructure your habits to push you toward being who you want to be, instead of who you once were.
