Mental health challenges are more than a diagnosis. From neurochemical imbalances such as ADHD to emotional disturbances like major depression, the symptoms and impact differ for each person. Larger issues such as life direction, personal ethics, and the family expectations we grew up with all result in different responses to overwhelming emotions and situations. Your mental health journey should be a collaborative experience that rises to meet your needs and supports you through your challenges. I am here to help you find your path and walk with you, even if you aren't yet sure where you are traveling.

My approach to counseling respects that you are a wholly unique person not defined by a diagnosis or best aided by a standardized counseling style. I work to understand you as a complex person operating in an ever-changing world so that we can build the best plan to get your mental health to where you would like it to be.

Reaching out for help is often one of the hardest parts of the counseling process. If you have found your way to this biography, something is bothering you enough to wonder if you should seek help for yourself or a loved one. Please reach out to schedule an introduction. I’ll be happy to talk the situation over with you and help you explore your options.
