I specialize in Sex Therapy, Sexual Addiction and Anger Management

I entered the field of psychology because I was fascinated with people and wanted to help others find their true potential through psychoanalytic work. The process of psychotherapy can be difficult at times but also rewarding. I work predominately with individual adults and couples struggling with their relationship, supervise interns/externs, facilitate groups, and teach psychology courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

My therapeutic orientation is Jungian in nature, however I combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other holistic techniques, such as nutrition and exercise. My research interests involve working with men struggling with anger and sexual addiction, couples in crisis, returning military veterans of war, and understanding the effects of traumatic brain injury with emotion.

My drive for personal understanding has lead me to do my own psychoanalytic work, as well as pursue an advanced education. I have a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in Psychology with an emphasis in Pre-Medicine, a Master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University-Seattle, and I have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, Santa Barbra, CA.

My clinical work has involved psychotherapy and assessments, in the areas of forensic, health, and neruopsychology.
