Hello and Welcome!

I am glad you're taking steps that support your good health. To me, therapy is a collaborative process based on an authentic therapeutic relationship that we develop together.

I am genuinely interested in you, your experiences, your struggles, and your goals, and in creating a safe space with you that is respectful, accepting, empathetic, and compassionate. We will build on your unique strengths and perspectives, explore your challenges, nourish your hope and resilience, support your growth, and develop an understanding of what you need to thrive.

My approach is eclectic and recognizes the importance, interdependence, and uniqueness of each person's psychological, physical, and social contexts. Most of my experience has been working with adults and older adults experiencing depression, a transition to a new chapter in life, medical challenges, or seeking to find their direction.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from UCLA and an M.D. from the University of Washington, I am currently studying for a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Washington. Although I haven’t practiced medicine for many years, I bring that understanding to our work together. I would be honored to be part of your journey!
