Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, MA, LMHC
She/Her
Telehealth only
I specialize in Generalized Anxiety, Climate / Eco-Anxiety, Depression, and Eating Disorders
Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse populations in various treatment settings. I have extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relationship conflicts, trauma, and stress caused by life transitions.
As a therapist, I strive to understand clients' unique needs and strengths. I value their perspectives and believe their self-awareness is essential to future change. The therapeutic alliance that I have with clients is foundational to our work together and in many ways guides the counseling process.
I often utilize Pragmatic Psychodynamic Therapy, which involves exploring past experiences, as well as current conflicts, to identify patterns and recurring struggles. Through the development of this insight, clients gain new perspectives, process complex emotions, and establish healthy cognitions. My work with clients may also draw on cognitive therapies, including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Central to my therapeutic approach is the belief that my clients have the potential to change and progress towards a healthier version of self. As your therapist, I will support you to better understand your struggles and strengths, identify changes that feel authentic, and establish greater wellness.
