I love working with people from all walks of life, and work together to identify challenges and leverage your strengths. The same set of traits can lead to different results - for example, persistence can produce anxiety but also lead to mastery and discoveries. Engrained patterns, learned behaviors and circumstances can get us stuck in states that hold us back from achieving fulfillment in a wide array of aspect of our lives - including professional, school, social or family. I would love to help you empower yourself to find effective ways to overcome these obstacles.

As a person that was diagnosed later in life with anxiety and ADHD, I know first hand how identifying patterns in how our brain and emotion work can help us overcome obstacles. Learning about these conditions have helped me identify triggers and develop strategies to successfully overcome obstacles. As a mother, I have also learned first hand that what works for one person does not work for another, and that for strategies to work, the whole environment often needs to be shifted.

I love working with parents, youth and children. In addition, I have worked in academia and the corporate world, and have experienced first hand how the stress of those jobs affects other aspects of our lives. We are often not prepared to set healthy boundaries, and that frequently translates in stress and burn out.

I think that the combination of my life experiences and my training as a counselor makes me an effective external pair of eyes to help you navigate and find a balance that works for you. I would love to hear from you
