As you enter counseling, I want to applaud you for having the courage to embrace growth and vulnerability. You may be feeling stuck, withdrawn, or emotionally overwhelmed. It can be cathartic and healing to address wounds that leave us feeling disconnected. Therapy can help build a deeper connection to yourself, gain awareness, and develop a stronger foundation to live a life you desire.

I utilize an integrative approach, drawing from systems theory, behavioral therapies (CBT, DBT), attachment theory, and narrative therapy. In our sessions, I incorporate your lived experience and intersecting identities to understand the person you are. I practice from an anti-oppressive, sex-positive and kink-affirming, multicultural and social justice lens. I enjoy working with individuals who identify as 2SLGBTQQIA+, BIPOC, and femme. With recognition of my cisgender White female identity, I am dedicated and passionate about exploring my racial identity, unlearning bias, and dismantling White supremacy.

As a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I am practicing under extensive supervision and support. I have been working in community mental health and non-profit case management since 2017, working with individuals who hold diverse intersecting identities and HIV/AIDS diagnoses.
