You've found yourself in a tough spot.

Not only has life thrown enough challenge your way that you're looking for a therapist... Now you also have to sort through the countless therapists out there in hopes of finding somebody that you click with who can support you as you make your way through this. It's a lot.

But what brings you here in the first place?

Maybe you're struggling with anxiety and the problems it brings. Or you’re wrestling with questions of meaning. It could be that your relationships are tense. Or maybe you've simply had life wear you down through challenge after challenge. Therapy is about bringing resolution to those problems.

One of the foundational ideas that I rely on comes from the anthropologist Gregory Bateson: "The major problems in the world are the result of the difference between how nature works and the way people think." Whether "the world" or "your world," the idea still makes sense.

My job is to help you make your way back to your true nature.

In doing so, I focus on here-and-now experience with a special emphasis on the body - after all, that's where the mind meets the world. This helps us ground our work in a highly effective way for everyday life.
