Meet Rikki

Hello, my name is Rikki Barash. I am a first-year student at University of Washington’s Master’s in Social Work program. I am honored to be a part of your mental health journey. I work to facilitate a space for identity exploration and healing. My priority is honoring your experiences by creating an environment for you to share, be heard, and find strengths that lead to resilience and emotional wellness.

I offer a trauma informed lens and integrate my past experiences working with youth and families in crisis settings. I am equipped to navigate complex family dynamics with a focus on family systems and interpersonal challenges. I have served as both a researcher and educator in sexual and gender diversity, and actively work with individuals where  LGBTQIA+ identities can be explored. I work with both adults and adolescents, and have experience collaborating with clients involved in the foster care system, juvenile probation system and survivors of commercial sexual exploitation.

In my free time, you can find me exploring Seattle with my small but mighty pup, thrifting for vintage home décor, or perfecting my home espresso game.

You don’t have to do it alone.
