,Seeking therapy can feel scary, but I believe that is it is a courageous and empowering step. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy and that therapy can be a means for personal growth. I have a family systems approach to my counseling, that is, I see how our upbringing shaped and molded us into who we are today. I believe that some of the difficulties we have with others is rooted in the learned relationships we have with our family members. I utilize the whole person experience with elements of cognitive behavioral and client centered therapy along with EFT to help you achieve your personal and relationship goals.
I provide individual and couples counseling with mindful and compassionate approach around subjects such as relationships, depression and anxiety, grief and loss, sexual addiction and trauma, self-esteem and conflict resolution to name a few. I am continually amazed by the human spirit and our natural resilient ability to heal and grow, when given the right kind of attention and caring. I value the impact that relationships have on our sense of well-being from a very young age and into adulthood and with this in mind, my goal is to cultivate this opportunity for healing in a relationship by offering an open, warm, honest and collaborative space for emotional, spiritual and creative growth. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and a masters degree in Psychology from Saybrook University- LIOS.
