Diane Marr

Meet Diane

I have worked 15+ years in a community behavioral health setting, providing assessment, therapy, and group treatment to individuals across the lifespan. I believe individuals are the experts in their lives, my role as a clinician is to help them learn skills to help them be more effective and increase their sense of agency and purpose. All people have essential worth and value, they are the authors of their story, and as clinicians we have the privilege to walk along side them for a time.

I have been trained in Solution Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and am an intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) therapist. In recent years, I have specialized in working with individuals struggling with regulating their emotions, tolerating distress and navigating interpersonal challenges. I also have extensive experience working with individuals at high risk for suicide and/or self-injury.

I have provided clinical supervision for the past 8 years, working with license associates and graduate interns. Most recently I was a Director for a large outpatient and specialized services programs with a community behavioral health provider in Eastern Washington state. I am a skilled presenter, having provided educational presentations to community groups on behavioral health topics.

When I am not providing therapy and supervision; I enjoy reading, cooking and food adventures, travel, and engaging in creative pursuits.

You don’t have to do it alone.
