My therapeutic approach is holistic, client-centered, and solution-focused. Everyone is unique, and once I get to know you, I’ll use the therapeutic tools and methods that I determine will be most beneficial to you. I like to draw from solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and narrative therapy, all of which offer ways of viewing problems from different perspectives and the opportunity for empowered participation in the unfolding of new realities.

I work with clients using a theoretical framework grounded in systems theory which means that I view the individual as part of a system, such as family, community, and society, from which it cannot be separated, and I believe that these relationships impact the way we think and behave.

I have a special interest in the mind-body connection, its impact on behavior and mood, and how it can be addressed to optimize systemic health and overall well-being. I believe that it is important to pay attention to the ways our bodies have been affected by the stories we carry, and to view our bodies as the homes that can help us heal. I consider it an honor and a privilege to hold people’s stories of loss and pain and to guide them toward restoration and wholeness in mind, body, and spirit.

With compassion and understanding, I seek to work collaboratively with each client to encourage investigation and productive problem solving. I believe that self-awareness is a powerful agent of change, and I strive to create a safe place where my clients can feel comfortable to explore and practice meaningful change within the context of our therapeutic relationship.
