Chance Boley, MA, Ed
Hello, my name is Chance.
I work with people who are dealing with emotional problems that manifest as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma. These encounters with emotions seem powerful, overwhelming, and mysterious. They may feel so powerful, that you push away, stuff down, use substances, or even allow the emotions to direct your actions and thoughts.
It can feel confusing and uncertain of how you can build strength to overcome your emotional wounds. Exploring the emotion with another can be healing and encouraging in the process of approaching that goal.
You might feel like you do not know where to start. You may know the issue that helped you decide to meet with a therapist, but what else is there?
What we seek to understand is the unconscious’ impact on our experiences.
How do you make sense of what doesn’t always make sense? How do you work through the feelings of anxiety, depression, and trauma?
It can feel difficult to understand why you feel what you feel, let alone invite the emotion in to tell you something.
My role in this process is to be a presence that contains growth, perspective, and psychological companionship. Together, we can help you develop the emotional strength necessary for you to grow larger than your wounds.
