Daniel Ware, BA
Throughout one’s life, we have a multitude of experiences that shape every aspect of our lives. Walking into new experiences we bring those lived experiences with us no matter if they are healthy or unhealthy. Together we would explore the questions you have about your life and what your goals are. Through reflection, questioning, and exploring your thoughts and emotions we can adventure together to a more positive you.
I use a strength-based, trauma-informed approach. I believe that all of us have the tools within us to overcome what life throws at us. My approach is influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, CBT, Adlerian Therapy (goal-based), Person-Centered, and Exposure Therapy. Looking at past trauma and maladaptive thoughts or patterns of life is what treatment could look like with me.
My experience comes from being an Air Force veteran, care coordinator, and working as a teacher, paraeducator, and behavior technician for 3 different school districts. My Bachelor of Art degree is in Child and Adolescent Development and am currently in my 3rd year at St. Bonaventure University in their Clinical Mental Health program.
